Since we’ve officially stepped into 2026 with fresh energy, I’ve set a resolution that satisfies both my fitness progress and my cravings: adding more protein to my daily diet. You already know I can’t live without my little sweet moments throughout the day (yes, plural, because let’s be honest, it’s a multiple-times-a-day kind of thing 😅). So, my biggest challenge was turning dessert into a gym-friendly ally. And when it comes to a ‘protein dessert,’ the star ingredient is, inevitably, protein powder. I’ll admit, my relationship with it has been pretty complicated; we just don’t get along in shakes or smoothies 🫣.
But I didn’t give up! After plenty of trial and error, failed textures, and kitchen experiments, I can finally say I’ve found a few magic formulas for recipes that don’t just “work”, they are absolutely delicious. Since I’m a self-proclaimed chocolate addict, it’s probably no surprise that most of my healthy baking experiments revolve around a rich, generous cocoa base.
