I’d been using CHI products for a while and really liked how they left my hair feeling. I’d tried other formulas, but this time I wanted to try Royal Treatment by Farouk. Because “royal treatment” sounds rather good, and surely my hair deserves a little pampering too. 😁
I chose the shampoo, hair mask and Pearl Complex hair oil, all from the same range. The CHI 44 Iron Guard thermal protection spray also found its way into my basket after I’d read some good reviews.
The order arrived on my birthday. 🙂
Royal Treatment, with a Small Unboxing Disappointment
I admit I was expecting the shampoo and hair mask to have the fancy gold, turret-shaped caps shown in the shop’s photo. The bottles I received had simpler ones.
I know, the cap doesn’t do the work. But if I was getting the royal treatment, I wanted the crown too. 😅 The Pearl Complex oil had one, so at least one product arrived dressed for the occasion.
Packaging aside, I’m curious to see whether I’ll like this range as much as the CHI products I’ve used so far. Shampoo, a hair mask, hair oil and a new spray to try. New toys for the bathroom! 😁
P.S. A little update after using them: I really like the Royal Treatment products. They work really well for my dry, color-treated blonde hair. So I’ve forgiven them for the caps too. 🙂
